Chilled Honey Herbal Tea

Summer is coming and we're obsessed with chilled herbal teas! Perfect for hosting family and friends, picnicking at the park, or staying hydrated on the go.

It's simple. Brew your favorite tea blend and chill before serving. Our absolute favorite blends are Mint Medley (a delightful potent blend of fresh peppermint and spearmint), and Tropical Hibiscus (a tart floral and sweet fruit mix). We can't keep these in the carafe at our local markets - they are SO GOOD!

What You Need:

A french press, or pot

Boiled water

2 tablespoons herbal tea blend

1.5 tablespoons raw honey

Add herbs and honey to your french press or pot. Pour the hot water over and use a lid or plate to hold in the steam. Steep for 10-15 minutes. I like to allow 15 for most of our blends, but the Tropical Hibiscus does best with 10-12 so the florals aren't too bitter.

Strain and pour into a pitcher or pot. Store in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight to fully chill. You can also just pour over ice. Garnish with lemons, fresh berries or mint leaves.

*To make a single serving, try 1/2 tablespoon of herbal blend + scant 1/2 tablespoon raw honey.

We've made it a Summer tradition to fix this at least several times each week and have with dinner or date nights. So refreshing, so potent, so healthy! Our fresh loose leaf herbal tea blends are much better than store-bought tea bags because they don't contain any added flavors or toxins. Plus they are SO FRESH and 100% organic.
